Miss Lydia~~the show in Newport, TN is probably close enough for you too. It's only 1hr 45 min from Bat Cave. They had a pretty good turn out too

What a yucky morning...lol...been raining since 9PM last night....still a steady light rain, but at least the temp is 42. Bad enough getting wet when I go out to feed, water, and turn everyone out...but getting COLD & WET~~~

Haven't checked the rain gauge yet, but the river is up quite a bit so we must have had several inches.

My Rcom Suro bator has gone haywire so I lost a couple of dozen eggs ~~ no way to start the day

I swear I must live in no-mans-land! There is no one around here or any auctions or swaps either. Had ONE swap at the new TSC in Franklin, VA, but couldn't go to. We need more folks in the NE here.

Of course, there's no man's land here in the mountains~~that's where I live

Have you tried posting a notice at your feed store that you're interested in swap meets? I'm sure there are other chicken folks looking for one too
