We have progress energy and they seem pretty good about getting us going after an outage fairly quickly. Though I notice the further out you live, the longer it takes to be back to normal.

Power is back on!!! We repaired a broken water pipe, so now we have water again. Made it to my husbands MD appt., to town and back. All the birds are fine....

I'm tired...lol

It sounds like we've got another storm coming in wednesday night

I have a game hen that was broodie right before we got her and hatched out 10 chicks since then a year this past August she has not be broodie once, guess she says she'll leave it to the younger ones, she's a grandma now lol [don't even know if she still lays] Those babies are so cute!!

good morning neighbors

how wonderful~~we're no longer being pounded by the wind; still cold (10degrees) but NO wind

HenThymes---beautiful babies!! even though they're not Silkies...lol

On my way to Atlanta to FINALLY get my 6 Christmas presents. Those poor birds will have traveled over 5000 miles by the time I get them today. At least it was in the comfort of a warm car with day stops in TN and FL.....and Judy K. and her daughter Robin have taken excellent care of them. Good friends are priceless.
