Have a great time at the fair! I was thiniking about trying to go but my Liam is sick again!

Poor kid. But it turns out my neighborhood is having a big yard sale day and so we're trying to get stuff together to participate! Which made me think..

Vfem - I know it's crazy late notice but you could always bring a bunch of your goodies and set them up to sell here! It's the perfect time of day and perfect weather to not be able to resist your goodies! I think you mentioned having to work but if you can swing it come on by in the morning! I also thought of this study that a coworker of my mother is doing that could be a little extra money. I'm going to try and do it, too! Here's the info for you or anyone else in the area!

It involves recording on camera both out the front windshield andrear window to monitor traffic, a radar unit on the front license plateto monitor the distance between your car the one in front of you and acamera which records your eye movement and only your eye movement. Nosound is recorded. They have increased the payment from $$600 for 2 years and $300 for oneyear. Participation for one to two years gets you $1,000 for two years, forone year $500. Also you will be in a drawing to win $1,000. Which Idid two months ago. The camera is on when the car is on but as when I kiss my wife or mynose I simply place a hat over the lens. You do not even notice the unitafter the first couple days. I think it is a great way to get a few extra $$. The install site is onAirport Boulevard and takes about 2-3 hours. Sadly the barn is WAY too far from the house (or any outlet) to get a power cord out there...when we were building it, we had to run 2-3 cords out there and it still didn't reach, so we had to do all the tooling about 50' from the concrete pad. (Keep in mind I am also terrible with measurements...so my 50' could be WAY OFF!! LOL That's what DH is for!!) I will say my Marans are giving me eggs daily!!

Maybe one of my orps is trying to think about going broody and therefore is stashing some?!?

LOL At least I do know it's not a snake (at least I haven't seen one in the coop)....LOL

Just found out that my sewing machine will be in the shop for TWO WHOLE WEEKS!! What am I going to do with myself for 2 weeks and no sewing machine?? I think I may go crazy from sheer boredom!! Of course the fabric for the new baby quilt I am making just HAD to arrive today...as well as the fabric for a few of DD's Christmas dresses...how cruel!! I may have to learn how to knit!! Hope everyone is enjoying this GREAT weather!!

So the DH and I (plus our adorable son) in attempts to spend a "family day" together went on the exhausting venture to pick up parts for my car and his pick up our friends truck and car trailer to go and pick up our broken down vehicle and many other things.. long and tiring day. left at 730 this am and got back not even an hour ago.. but good thing is while I am enjoying the arts and crafts with my dear friend tomorrow my husband will be working on both cars to get both running again. So happy and hoping our luck starts looking up with the cars.

Hopefully visiting my dear friend in the hospital tomorrow evening. Still no change.. still has spiking fevers and abdominal pain. On a broth and jello diet. poor guy. they have been given the official word that he will not be released this weekend. Another week he has to be away from his own 2 yr old and his wife.

Still no word on my machine. think I will make the call tomorrow to figure out if my folks ever check on price for shipping. I am so excited to get it and now thats all I can think about.. Finished crocheting another blanket.. boy are my hands tired.. Tried doing a market bag and made my squares too large.. that got re purposed into yet another blanket. starting over again on the bag. Now it is getting done purely on principle to prove I can accomplish it.. It has been driving me nuts.

Lots to do this weekend.. Might possibly head to State fair on Sunday but too busy tomorrow.. sorry all

BTW 10 eggs today! something went right!
