I'm game!! I LOVE having visitors....wait, have I actually HAD any since living here?? Well, Gavin of G&A visited to drop off my first batch of chickens...

I'm so lame...haven't had many visitors since moving to NC...

You're willing to help with that though, right?!? OOHH...VFem "visited" to have an awesome jam class for my sister's visit/birthday, so we'll count her too. Hmm...my only visitors have been BYC people...SWEET, you all are so AWESOME!!

VFem - I have been thinking about you a lot lately!! I hope you are feeling better and find out soon what seems to be causing the problem.

Praying for DH to get this job!! I wish you all lived closer as I know the company my DH is contracted to is almost always hiring people. If you think he might be interested, let me know and I will have DH get me the details. The company is in Clayton. I will still ask around to see if there is anything closer your way...can't hurt to ask, right?!? Keep your chin up, things will start looking up sometime soon!! Let us know if we can help and I'm always happy (and I know your fellow BYC'ers are also happy) to sit by and let you vent. We're a support group that way!! We just happen to be a support group of chicken addicts!!

Matt - I think you should consider a pen name then... you can publish "anonymously" and still feel the satisfaction of having your work published without the turmoil of it being "YOU". You could write up your own version of the Chicken Soup for the Chicken Lovers Soul book!!

Speaking of Chicken Soup...I am attempting to make my first ever batch of chicken & dumplings...not sure WHAT/HOW, but I am determined.

If it fails, DH won't tell me until after it's all gone!!

North Carolina BYCers... I live in Chatham Co. I'm looking for one or two blue Ameraucana (or one blue and one lavender) pullets and one or two BCM pullets. It doesn't need to be show quality but I'd like from good lines, not hatchery stock. Between 5 and 10 months old... Anyone knows where I can find them?

I live in Yadkin county and if anyone would like a visitor, or to visit I would love to get to know some of the BYCers in NC wasn't able to go to the last chicken sale, death in the family but it would be nice to meet some people who are as addicted to chickens as I am
