So no one knows of where a fellow North Carolinean can get some pullets so I can have colorful eggs? do you think I'd find some at the Winston-Salem show on the 26th?

thanks...

PS: what a gorgeous fall we're having!! I hope you all enjoy this wonderful day!

I think you're talking about Harvest to Table. Crystal doesn't have any... only in the Spring... I may have to wait until Spring but I'd love to have some blue eggs now... :)

OH MY!! You'd NEVER believe my afternoon...okay I am sure you would.

HELP NEEDED: Hawk or Falcon (young one) tried to attack 2 of my chickens, lost out to a cat (yay TINK) and a rooster (yay Cotton-tail...so much for low man on the totem pole...this saves him from the freezer!!). The wing is obviously broken, who do I call to take it?? Anyone know?? I don't want it to suffer/die!! Many thanks!!

Update: after about a dozen calls to various animal control FINALLY someone pointed me to the correct place: NC Wildlife Management. On the phone now waiting to find out what they would like me to do!! phew!!
