Good Morning everyone!!
CSB - glad your first day back was a relatively quiet one!!
Hollow -
Here's a prayer for a wonderful semester with amazing students!!
Wild - I am glad to read that you are able to do some protein and I am hoping & praying that things brighten up for you! I am officially in the 2nd trimester now and while I haven't had a bout of all day sickness again, I still get waves of it here and there...not to mention that my sniffer is STILL on overdrive so the slightest scent can have be gagging!!
Just keep your eyes focused on the "prize" at the end. Once you hold him/her for the first time, I promise you, you will forget all of the drama that you had to go through to bring that one here. (While you forget...you never fully FORGET the wonderful things that caused the waves of nausea...I got sick on pickles with my first and have YET to be able to go near them - not even smell them...and I use to be able to eat pickles from the jar like they were candy!! LOL) This is the biggest hurdle (aside from the actual labor/delivery & the adjustment that follows) that you must overcome for now.
I'm here for you and praying for you!!
Not much going on here. Chicks are doing well. DH is going to reconfigure our isolation pen to be a temporary juvi pen. I think this will be good for many reasons, but especially since the guineas are so aggressive towards ALL our young teenagers. Perhaps this will enable the guineas to "get to know" the juvis and they won't attack them when they're integrated!! The only one the guineas DON'T attack...Cadbury!! How I LOVE that duck!! (Thanks Beth!!). His girls are still rather shy, but he's a lover!! (It probably helps that I let him have first dibs on the feed bucket before giving some out to the rest!!
I "won" my husband by baking goodies for him and his family...why not "woo" Cadbury?!? Hehe. Busy day - lots of cleaning going on!! I haven't actually touched anything since the guests left and it DESPERATELY needs to be done!! Tomorrow is my first ultrasound and I really HOPE the visit isn't 1.5 hours like they told me to prepare for. Seriously, this isn't my first child...do I REALLY need to go through everything all over again?!? It hasn't been THAT long since the last one (oops). Okay, I am done complaining!! LOL. Have a great day everyone!! My reward will be allowing myself to drool over seed catalogues again and dream!!
WELCOME to all the new folks!!
