Pretty group of birds and hopefully some pretty egg colors too. Aren't you excited? I can't wait till March and April when our ducklings and chicks get here. I have a countdown timer on the phone going..

I have tried twice now to have a BLR Wyandotte. The first time we ordered from the hatchery our egg "didn't hatch" so we didn't get one. A local store ordered some after I asked about them, so we got one of those...it turned out a boy

...I still think they are one of the prettiest chickens and will try again sometime to get a girl.

In case Mary doesn't see it on FB will you please bring 1-2 boxes for her chickens tomorrow? I have run out of crates. :(
