Just got on after a long while. Is there a show Sunday? I know I am behind.

Arrrggghhhhhh.....I can't come this Sunday.

But I'm picking up three calves tomorrow morning!

. Should be three. They're three weeks old, so halfway to weaning. Starting to nibble solids. They're gonna taste good down the road a bit! The sheep go to freezer camp Monday, then the pastures will be for the calves.

what kind of calves?.........It usually takes me 8 weeks to wean em. .....but I usually spoil em

Holstein bull calves. The folks I'm getting them from wean at six weeks, but I'll likely keep them on at least one bottle a day for a couple more weeks.

I had 2 but sold one of em...he is getting big now.....I'd say some where around 500 lbs. now....gonna put him in the freezer around may or june.......
will yours be banded or are you gonna have to band em?make em steers.....I've got a bunch of bands left if you need some

?????? dont calves wean at 6 months or so? i have about hundred head and ....they wean at six months and r sold
