Wow, lots of March birthdays! I'll make it a point to come, and since the cake is claimed I'll bring other goodies for the party! I'm wanting to come this weekend, but I think hubby has other plans in the works.

I got heat lamps set up for the calves. They had them at the place we got them from, and while they haven't needed them since I got them, the temps will be dropping back down soon. Since hubby leaves again tomorrow, I wanted to make sure I had it done before he left. Thankfully, I have a small pen next to theirs that I set them up low enough to do some good when they lay down, but they can't reach them to knock them over.

I can't wait to see what my next hatch looks like! More chickies!

yes.....LF......I don't have bantams.......they are cute but
not what DH wants to deal with soooooooo.........everything
is LF.........it is a lemon blue frizzle roo over mixed color orp hens.
I'm expecting some pretty chicks from the cross.

Okay...opinions wanted. I have a chance to buy a gqf brooder set up, and need some info from you guys as to the asking price. Setup was used one season. Two heated brooder units and two expanded grow off pen tiers. Asking $600 for all. If you go to gqf website, the heated units are $224 each and the grow off tiers $154 each. Plus shipping.

What do you think?
