Okay...opinions wanted. I have a chance to buy a gqf brooder set up, and need some info from you guys as to the asking price. Setup was used one season. Two heated brooder units and two expanded grow off pen tiers. Asking $600 for all. If you go to gqf website, the heated units are $224 each and the grow off tiers $154 each. Plus shipping.

What do you think?

Yes 10 so far. A few more in the bator. 1st one I hatched is a rooster of course.

You always need a back up roo....because all chicken people know that as soon as you sell your back up rooster the main rooster will fall over dead for no freaking reason. LOL

No.. I do not need a rooster. I need hens !! BIG hens. I will take them back to my BIG 100% rooster and start over. I will be starting this with Splash also. If any of the 3 chicks I have are hens.

Yeah, but if you cover your big hens with a big lav roo, then you know for sure that all your blacks are splits.
