pond equals egg eating snakes and other predators that come to the pond at night to drink
I agree......it's a water source and not a good placement for a coop
and cows are rascals that like to mess with things and it just takes
one horn tangled to bring down the whole coop.....best coop placement
is nearest to activity.........house or barns, even walking paths that are
used often......remember to put a net over the top or lots of low hiding
spots for the hens.
 
I got my first egg this past Sunday and nothing since:( . I thought waiting for the first egg was bad, this is terrible!!

Happy Friday everyone! We slept with the windows open last night and it was SO nice. It's supposed to be like yesterday again.

Another busy day here... Already got the front grass cut and course all animals chores where done before the sun was up.
