Good morning folks

I just love my DH. Since we are getting all these pretty colors
in the eggs I want to blow some out to make ornaments. I
think it will be easier if I use a drill to make a hole at each end
so he went and bought me a dremel to use so I won't have to
handle a heavy drill.....he's such a sweetheart.

I went a bit egg-blowing nuts last year and have boxes of blown eggs! I still blow special ones, but not all the dog food eggs!

So I learned something new about chickens today-- Lash eggs.
I've never had chickens old enough.
Do they all produce these as they stop laying?
Pretty disturbing looking!

Not all will do this. I've never had one do this and I've had hens live past their egg laying life. It doesn't always happen only at the stop of egg laying.

I've read that it is linked to hormonal changes in a chicken... So it could happen in any age of mature chicken, theoretically. Just really rare

good old lung power.....and how did you find the

They do a USDA home loan for buying existing homes or building on land you own or remodeling your house with 100% financing in rural areas. Not sure if that's anywhere near what you are thinking of though.
