North Carolina

Hey everyone! I am going to ship some hatching eggs to Fuquay Varina, NC next week and I am wondering what to do! I know how to package them and everything put where do I get the box and label's? Someone please help! Thanks! :jumpy
Easy-peasy! The priority boxes are free from the Post Office! You can get rolls of bubble wrap at WalMart. Shipping lables are a PO thing, but you might want to make some signs for "Live embryos" and "Do not Xray" on your own printer.

Hubby got his rough cut lumber today! Chicken house has walls and windows in. Need wire for the doors and to split the pasture and I'll be moving birds again! Woohoo!

Depending on how many eggs, you can always get FREE priority mail boxes from the Post Office. They have the Flat rate boxes too for heavier packages.

In addition to the advice you've already gotten, I would suggest writing "Do Not Shake" on the box. Seems that just because something says "fragile" doesn't mean postal handlers won't shake it.

Id like to see pics of the blue laced polish if you have time to put them up

Kenneth

there is the blue top hat....is that a blue laced polish? that would be neat if someone came out with it......turning the black lacing on the gold polish and turning it into blue will make it look like a blue Wyandotte but its relly a polish! id like to see that.....and definitely get eggs if anyone has some. blue laced Wyandotte's are my top favorites.

I'm already hating the time change. I hate doing morning chores in the dark.

And the whole getting up an hour early for work... In the dark...
I waited all of winter to have daylight by 7am when I arrive at work. Just finally got it in February. Now I'll be waiting a few more months it looks like.
