North Carolina

I will if I have to but I haven't eatn one of my own birds since I was 17 there's plenty on youtube on how to process your birds I trade my extra roos to the feed store for store credit that I use for chicken feed mostly
I didn't know you could trade the roos in for credit....is that just at your store ? I got my few from Tractor Supply and I've never heard of that. Wish they did here.. Still waiting to find out if my little ones are putllets or roos... I would rather pay more for pullets than getting attached to my little ones only to find out that some were roos.

I do at the feed store here not TS carolina town & country in sanford but I've been in there since they opened so they know me plus the manager amber is super cool and very nice btw I forget who asked about what I do after hatch with the chicks but I let them dry in the incubator until fluffy then I put them in this its a 10 gal aquarium I wired a light to plywood cut to fit with an inch gap on one side I have a 100 watt bulb in it and drilled holes until it stayed between 95 and 100 degrees if it still gets too hot I slide the lid a bit news paper food and water and, I keep them here to watch for 2 or 3 weeks then they go to the big wood bitty box in the barn

It was so good to meet so many of you at the East Fayetteville Flock Swap this weekend. It is always nice to put a face with a screename.

Hope to link up again soon!!

Good afternoon everyone!! Weird story, this morning whe. I woke up from school I looked on my front porch and a Barred Rock (standard) cockeral was there, it isn't mine! And he's still there in the same spot lol.
