Long time no see, hope all is well.

Address is Stanley, house is in Lincoln county

I'm moving from Indiana to North Carolina and am not sure about zoning & ordinances there. Maybe you all can help me. When checking for zoning info about having chickens, would I look for the city or county I'm in?
You will also need to make sure that if it's in a neighborhood that there is no HOA against them.

I don't know where you're from, but a friend of mine said the TSC in Sanford had a bunch last night.
There's also online hatcheries. Ideal usually has the most still in stock this time of year & not a minimum number of birds.
As far as show quality with extra dark eggs, I don't know what to tell you, Sorry.

Edit: Just saw Hollow has them, even better!

Be sure to check with the state,,,then the county....then your HOA. For me the stated do not have strict laws on owning as certain number of poultry... But then I checked with the little town I'm in and didn't have a probelm.. (some will allow a certain number # of chickens and no roosters.) So I went ahead with my chickens. But I also have a piece of land across the road from me that probably does have a rule.. so I talked to each of them and even took each of them a halfdozen eggs. No problem...so LOLOL now I'm adding another small coop.!! Research where you are going to live right down to the address when you know it. I"m kind of in the country.....but still in the township! And its so strange that a city like Charlotte allows a certain # of chickens and even Raleigh has an ok on chickens....but little Rocky Mount and a smaller country town of Nashville doesn't allow them...And we all live in a rural area!!!!! So all I can tell you is....do your research...it might help picking out a place to live or if you even have a choice!!

Hollowoaks Do you have any chicks or eggs available at this time and if so how can we get together

Not the best picture of them, but I got some cool welded chicken planters at the Dogwood Festival in Fayetteville!
The big rooster was $24 and the hen pecking was $19.
Even cuter in person.
He had a bunch of chicken stuff too, ya'll should stop by there if you're not doing anything today :)

Opting to sell off my English Gold-laced Orpington cockerels, English Chocolates, and spare English blacks. All English, All Orpingtons, all roosters. If you are interested, pm me. (Note that you can breed GL and Chocolates to blacks and then cross back to pull out that recessive color.)

I only have two of each.
