I collect eggs everyday, but it's super hot.
Has anyone had eggs not being sat on just start developing when it's 95-100 outside?
My only fertile eggs would be duck, but I'd hate to unknowingly give someone a duck egg that had started.
I accidently opened a turkey egg that started in the frying pan, it was awful!
Wow! I have worried about doing that when I had a ninja broody (she would get off the nest when I was around so I could never figure out who it was for days) so I would cook all the eggs into omelets for the chickens since she had been sitting on them the whole day. I never found any that started developing in the 12-18 hours she had them.. I was reading an article that said there would be no visible developments for the first 48 hours.
Also, weird and a bit gross... There is some Asian cuisine (can't remember which country(s) that incubate eggs to like 15 days and then cook and eat them... Very strange practice but it's normal for them and probably a special occasion/holiday food!
