If I go I have some heritage Dominique chick's about 2 weeks old. All five that hatched are roosters.

Well, I'll just add my "cheery news" of the week. Haven't worked on my run much due to rain,.,, need only a couple of days!  Then on Wednesday, on the way home, I had someone merge in my lane...I had no where to go so I had to take the shoulder....then the gravel, then the grassy part..they just took my lane away!!!  The grass was wet and slick so I was off the races to keep from flipping!!  Kept the 4 wheels on the ground but with all of the bouncing..,it tore my wheelchair loose although being tied down from 4 corners with motorcycle tie downs.,,,then the weight of chair bouncing put so much stress on the lift...the steel was ripped apart and left on the ground with the chair. It was all spread over about 25' before I could get those 4 wheels stopped!  The other driver never stopped and giving the benefit of the doubt, I wonder if I was in her blind spot,....but it doesn't help me.  Now I have my car but its only part of my independence!!!  If have very far to walk,,,,I can't....  I fall very easily if there is any unevenness of the ground/floor/etc !!  
Ok....that's my pity party for today...just trying to get the estimates and wondering about the $$, etc. So this week has been really yukky!  Sorry to be dumping on something that has nothing to do with my ladies, except I can't finish the little things in the run. They are really enjoying the run and I can hear them fighting for position to get out the pop door!!  LOL   They are really the joy of my life right now,...

Oh no!!! That's awful! I'm so glad you weren't hurt though. You know where I am if you need me. g

I will be getting a barred rock tomorrow. The wife will be so surprised. She just loves that breed. This is the old one we had. We lost her to the neighbors dog. No more dog either it caught lead poison not long after !

Thanks everyone for letting my get through my pitty party....LOL....now on with trying to get the estimates, etc Probably will take a little while.. Been using the "Bargain Trader" magazine but that magazine will give you the headache! LOL Doen't seem like there's any organization to it. First, i'm trying to find a wheelchair lift.... Then trying to find a decent motorized wheelchair. mine was a jazzy but it had been fitted to my body for support..... So just finding one that is close...THAT....will be the tough part. But even with that, the lift will be harder to find!

Had a family reunion for dh's family today...had a great time. The family is kind of down to a few in the generation older than dh and I (we are 65 & 67). Soooo, we call this get together the "Cousins by the dozen" reunion... Since I've been in the "cousins" group for almost 46 yrs, I love being with that crazy group!!

Please have a fun but safe week with your chickadees...

I'm not going to worry about this situation.....it will work out...! I always just have to get over the initial trauma or shock...then I set my goals on how to "conquer" the situation! LOLOL I always believe things will turn out ok and for the most part....they will or they do..

Sometimes I'm just a little more in a rush to make them happen on my time line instead of the Lord's.

I'm so sorry that happen to you. Glad your ok.

I am too....with all that slipping and sliding, its a wonder I didn't flip my old explorer.,,, I'm really grateful because my old car would not have an insurance payoff that would enable me to get another car....Its an '02 with about 200,000 mi. Its also been my "farm truck" so you can imagine how many things have been carried in there.. Everything from grands with food/drink, to chickens and chicken food !!

Like me...its beginning to show its age.
