Piedmont Farm Tour - Both days this weekend, April 27th and 28th, 2pm-6pm. Lots of the farms have chickens running around. I’ve been for several years and had a great time.

Flock Swap at the Urban Chicken in Raleigh, this Saturday, April 27, 9am-2pm.
I wish I could go to the flock swap- I could bring my roo! Unfortunately I've got something else...

We live just north of Greensboro in Browns Summit, NC. Haven’t had chickens since growing up and we’re about to finish our coop. Does anyone know where we can get river sand or construction sand around here for our coop? I’d be ok with driving a little ways to get what we need!

Seen this on Facebook and wanted to share it here:

Hi! I'm a backyard chicken owner. I'm in Guildford county High Point. I'm looking for anywhere I can pick up some fertilized organic eggs, I think a lot of my shipped eggs ended up having detached air sacs ;-;
Trying to catch with a broody.
