FYI, I found a source for industrial hemp bedding. I picked up 10 bails last week. If anyone in the Moore county area had a need/desire to try hemp bedding I can sell a few bails for $30 each.

I love it, I have 2 bales in my coop and have not changed or cleaned it since the beginning of May. I have 13 birds utilizing the coop. The bales are 33lbs each.

If anybody is interested in show quality D’Uccle chicks, there’s a breeder in Reidsville. I’ve gotten 8 from him—gave 2 roos away—so now I have 1 roo and 5 little girls. They are precious! When I went to pick up the other pullets last week, he had brand new chicks—so sweet! I was so tempted because he had a few golden neck—his birds are beautiful and I love his golden necks!! Anyone near Stoneville needing 2 Old English Game bantam cockerels? Bought at TSC earlier this year they’re 4 months old with absolutely no aggression. I’m just not a fan of bantams and already have 8 large fowl cockerels. They’re free as long as you’ll give them a good home and not a stew pot.

I’ve only order once an lost two to shipping stress that’s what the hatchery called it. If I order any it would be from Purely poultry. I let my Muscovy hatch for me an this year she gave me Two gorgeous drakes (runner) and that would put me at 4 Runner drakes to 9 females not a good ratio at all. So now I’m thinking I may try an find good forever homes for these two boys who just turned 8 weeks. I’m in Western NC

I understand completely! I wish I could take one but I’m not quite set up yet. We’re in the Piedmont but I have no problem traveling to get my animals! I know I’m crazy but I once traveled 4 hrs to SC to get 3 pet rats for my boys. They were so sweet though! I was when they died! I hope you find good homes for your boys!
