Most all landlines were taken out here years ago, the lines don't exist anymore.That is true... but most telephone poles don't carry telephone lines anymore. It's all fiber optic or cable now... Which if damaged, puts you back at "square one".

I'm sorry your power is still off, many here have no power either. Goodness the cell access is a total nightmare. No service at all sometimes, then you may have it for a few hours...Hi everyone we are on day 10 of no power can only get cell service a few times a day and usually I can get online for maybe 10-20mins of an evening if that sometimes not at all. Elon Musk is suppose to be sending Starlink to help.

Mine were 1917 and 1919. And dad was an airplane mechanic in WW2 (stateside).Me too. My parents were born in 1928.
I can't post a map or pic, all I can find is video but basically it looks like it will be moving from west to east across the state at the Tampa Bay area and then out to sea.
