Trish~~you take the best pics !!

We've got about 3 inches of snow already, and it hasn't slowed down a bit.....guess we're in for a big one....at least there's no wind to speak of.
Satellite keeps going off & on, but I don't mind so long as I don't lose power....still have to cook the ham, at least the turkeys done.

You'll stay warm --- especially you Matt--chasing those chickens back to their house

We just hit the 4 inch mark. Most of the birds are where they need to be under their own shelters or in/under their own houses. Only 3 went back to the truck. Those will have to be ran out then either herded or carried this evening.

Matt

We're at about 5 inches....and it hasn't let up a bit. I love the snow but it makes getting chores done a bit difficult.

Matt---glad to hear all of your birds are making their way back to where they belong

Gonna go tuck my babies in for the night and maybe work off some of this dinner...lol

Hi! well we have about 7" now and going strong!! Oh well we have bread and milk

Had 6 inches at 5pm when I started shutting the birds up. Only had to catch and carry 4 to their houses. Was a good oppurtunity to do a health check on each of them. They are good and healthy with good weight. I do this about anytime I catch a bird that is not a petable bird. I thought it was a good habit to develop.

I haven't been out since, but the snow has never stopped and there have been a few times that is was coming down pretty heavy when I turned the outside light on.

Matt

Thank goodness you got all your birds in Matt....I do the same thing---except I'm paranoid about feet and parasites---if I pick up a bird, I'm gonna clean its feet feathers and look in it's crest and cushion for parasites

You've got the right idea Trish....think I'll catch up on the laundry before I start that book though
