Hope everyone is having a fine morning so far, we said goodbye to daughter and grandkids this morning and we'll take the next month to recupe from the visit. Suppose to be a pretty nice week so maybe we'll see the rest of the snow and ice melt away, I was acyually able to use the hose yesterday, it was so nice to wash away some of the built up duck and goose poo. Well got lots to do so will talk to everyone later...

the guy is picking him up tomorrow. It is stressing my hens out way to much I have not gotten a egg since he came home. He is going to be with a flock of golden sexlink hens so he will have a good life.

Good for you aaps, I have been running around all day also, just stopped by to check emails then going to bed, my dh and I both are sick, too much grandkids I reckon ...

Junkman~~my husband fixed me a "toddy" once--he's from GA---I didn't know what was in it, but I remember it burned the heck out of my throat, I slept for 2 days, and woke up feeling great

There "used-to-be" a lot of quality producers of good "medicinals" down in that-thar part of the Western North Carolina timber-woods.

Hi everyone, thanks for the posts junkmanme and BC, hey that rimes. I tell ya last night would love to have had some of the white stuff

would probably take some today if offered. Something going around up here, I usually do well in not catching stuff, but think with the added stress of company[kids] which I am not use to! my resistance was down, anyway this 2 will pass, dh is doing okay too, just need about a month to recoop. So hope all is well and ya'll are getting ready for another blast. Sounds like Further western co. are in for more only calling for 2" up here. So batten down the hatches again. Put some fresh peas out in water for the ducks and goose this morning and guess who went bobbing for peas, yep the chickens! They also got warm oatmeal and cinnamon and raisins. The spoiled little things. So ya'll have a great day and I'll see ya back here real soon. Trish

So glad you & dh are doing better Miss Lydia.

Spent most of yesterday cleaning out the barn and re-arranging birds. Went to the PO this AM & picked up my new pair of Lavender Silkies....they're gorgeous!! I'll try to post pics later today. Got them from my friend Judy King--Three Cedars Silkies.

I know we're in for a cold weekend, but I don't think we're suppose to get any snow

Nate is well enough that he's scoping out the other brooders and picking fights with the baby cockerels!!

guess it's time for him to go back to the barn
