If she is a year old then she is a hen. No you do not need to provide a cage other than how you transport her to the show, they provide show cages.

Hi Guys!
I have a young pair of pet quality bearded buff silkies for sale that I can bring to Morganton if anyone is interested. Little pullet is six months and the cockerel (i think a cockerel-could still turn out another pullet...

) is 4 months...I thought i'd offer the little pair to you guys first. The pullet is pretty... has really nice crest and shape...just coloring is not show/breed quality... PM me if interested.

Sorry I missed out on all the fun today. Hubby was a tiny bit better so I took advantage of the situation and got the shopping and all the other errands done. It's alot less busy in town on a wednesday

Actually got TWO eggs from the Lavender pen today!! Always so thrilling when your breeding plan begins to work out.
Love that little serama....so tiny and irresistable
The warmer temps were great....all the snow melted, now the ground is like a slick sponge

I'm getting ready for my First Lock down on Saturday. Fingers crossed, temp has not changed for a minute the whole time! I think I've read myself blind on the subject to the point of second guessing and almost a state of paranoia! Who new 22 days was TWENTY TWO DAYS LONG! ha. Good Luck Gavin!!!
