We will be hatching some eggs out this year from them. They'll be laying anyway, and we don't eat the eggs. We won't be keeping any either more than likely, as we're mainly duck people. I like the weirdo varieties of chickens though. So we'll let you know.

Amazing! I've checked on them about 7 times today. My ankle has really been hurting badly today, so you know I love them to be walking on it. Trying to get my little one to lay down for a nap, and I'm going to sit out there with them awhile.

I am glad to hear they are doing good. I really wish we did not have to get rid of them but we did not have the set up for them but I know they have a great home, maybe later down the road will will get some more

We don't eat eggs. I mean, we do eat them, just not a lot. I usually just scramble my eggs and give them back to the chickens. It's not anything other than we just don't use a lot of eggs around here. I've ordered a Brinsea incubator, so we'll probably start using them for hatching. We just sold the last of our Mallard ducks a month ago, and have an order into Holderreads for Silky Ducks. So that'll be our next big adventure.

AllAbout, they have an excellent home. I love them dearly. I didn't get a chance to sit in the coop with them today, Lily decided a nap was not on her to do list today, but hopefully tomorrow. Don't worry about the ankle. as my mom always said "If you're going to be dumb, you had better be tough"

Also, anybody in the WNC area looking for some Game chickens? I've got 5 wild ones that showed up today, and while they're pretty, they CAN'T stay!

Chirping bator! Heard a couple knocks. Sleep will take me at sone point, but not without a fight, and an ear on the bator side! I'm so excited. I had to rewind the tv to make sure I heard right.
