They are EE mix from moms two gals one is solid white auracana " Peace", the other is Wheat auracana "Chicpea". Roo is a large white ???Chicpea is mom first!

They must be sleeping. I know I will tonight! Who knew how exhausting this is. Like watching paint dry. Lol

I would be a nervous wreck for sure, it's bad enough when my hens are sitting and I want to go out and lift them up every 1/2 hour..

I hear the pecking inside. Where are Brunswick's hatch mates? It looks so lonely... Still waiting. At least I can try to bond with it today! Just tring to do it right and not open the bator.

I think we (humans) feel bad for the chicks, but Brunswicks got her hatch mates in there. She will be fine. She can hear them, maybe she will incourage the little buggers to hatch. Sometimes when they roll the eggs around on you the pip is where you can't see. Hang in there!

Good Morning All!

Went into lockdown late last night in our (new to us) cabinet hatcher with 25 eggs. Hoping for good results. That I could tell they all looked good.

Good Morning Everyone
Between the rain & sleet (which looks more like hail) I still haven't gotten outside to feed the birds ..... everyone has food & water 24/7, but I need to open the doors to their runs and serve breakfast...lol
Did anyone hear that thunder last night?? what's that old wives tale about thunder in winter?
Greenskeeper~~the waiting is never easy, no matter how many batches you've hatched; Brunswick absorbed enough food from her yolk sack to live without additional food & water for 72 hours if that's any consolation...
Hope the weather clears up a little~~I need to take pics of some of the sale birds and nobody behaves when you try to take pics in the barn...lol...
