This is Pixie, my white EE. Got her from Mt. Healthy Hatchery. Have to say, I got some very pretty birds from them.

Thank you, so far 4 are out, 4 more with pips and two hold outs. And to think I just repaired that rut I dug in the floor last week.

My DH could definitely tell you some hair raising stories!

I love what he makes, he has to make me another quad to use as a show hutch to put them in after their baths before shows.

Rainy as nasty as it is, I'm doing the happy dance!

I finally got an egg out of my Silkies' coop. I haven't had an egg from them since September. My Japanese Bantams went back to laying last week, and I'm getting 1-2 eggs a day from them. If all my silkies start laying again I should have 3 a day until the 2 pullets start (anytime now)!

Then I can hatch... I have got to get a bator so I can begin the hatching process.... I'm going crazy without CHICKS!!!

Morning all! I know what everyone means about waiting for the eggs... I have quail, and they need 14ish hrs of sunlight before they lay. but when they do, I bring the cutest deviled eggs to parties! Can't wait for Spring!!!

Last time I checked, this was Chicksanomus. But that is ok. Because we are good enough, smart enough, and our chickens love us! I'm just putting it out there!
Super glad your hens are laying. Hopefully I will be getting eggs here soon! Feed ain't free yet, but the love is... + or - peas and carrots!
