now are you going to bring the chicks to the show next week? if so please let me know how much I owe ya.. and if you could take a pics of them before hand so I'll know what they look like! jk I am excited about getting them for sure.. Hey I'm getting Silkies sometime in the spring too.. we'll have to have a Silkie party, and did you see that Gavin called all his babies brats? what a mean daddy, and speaking of Daddy's did anyone give Daddy's advise on his little ones and their pasty butts?I've never had to deal with it but I knew some of ya'll most likely had.

Sometimes with pasty butts it could mean that the brooder is just a bit too hot for them.. It can also be from the stress of shipping... To be honest I end up slowly and gently pulling the hard poop ball off as much as possible which removes some of the feathers and makes it harder for the poop to stick to the area again thus helping prevent future pasty butts. You still may want to put a few drops of the infant poly-vi-sol in their water,it really does help. I know you mentioned that you have already lost a few chicks??

Morning!!!! I love waking up to more people on BYC!

My BCM's just feed me. Yum! Yes, I trade feed for feed now! It's a symbiotic relationship for the win! Joined the dedicated bcm thread, they mean business! I'm so excited we have the show next weekend!!! Can't wait to see what's there. Told my niece we might see a giraffe this time!
Gavin better watch what he says about his kids! Has he ever seen Hitchcock's Birds! Scary things... Lol
Good thing miss Lydia keeps us all in line. HT horses like chicken companions! I saw lots of racers that had there buddies at the track with them! Now as far as sharing with a flock... Lol. Anyone heard peeps from BC? Another barn I would like to see!!! One day DW will get past the # 12. might just have to break the ice like Em's DH!
