Good evening everyone! Been a busy day here packing eggs, collecting eggs, tending to brooders, placing chicken ads and buying eggs.

Have a juvi pair of Serama's shipping out tomorrow along with some more eggs and hopefully someone showing up later tomorrow afternoon for my juvi cuckoo marans pair.

I like to homesteader idea, I use to make bread before there was bread makers but now arthritis keeps from kneading, would love a bread maker though.. only raise a few veggies no flat ground around here, so we plant in containers.. plus with ducks and chickens running a muck it's hard to keep something in the ground..

but with prices going up constantly I think maybe there will be more of us living closer to the land.. so anyway ya'll have a good night and Ruth Ann your not in trouble..

BHep how are our Runner ducks doing haven't seen any pics of them in about a week, that will keep you busy till more eggs start to hatch out running around getting pics of everyone.. I have to have a fawn runner, well actually hoping for 2..

Hi all,

hope everyone is well........... We have had to divide up the chicks into 2 brooder boxes, so went with Orps in one and the Barred rocks in another. This gives everyone all round more room....

Of our 2 late hatchers the Buff has transfered to the big boys. Unfortunately the late Lavender orp seemed to have a leg deformity, one was perfect, and the other pointing at a 90 degree angle with very little use in it. The little one seemed weak so I had to help him on to the coop in the sky...... No suffering for that one.......
