You crack me up Green!! I'm sure it is still "cheeper" in the long run...especially after 6+ (Lord willing) on our end!! Oh well...more hands to help take care of MORE chickens, right?? How's that for chicken math??

Neeley - Love that you think the cat is cute too...he's my old fellow that puts up with a LOT from his "mom" to his new "sister"...I don't think he realized he was signing up for all this when he picked me.

My incubator is set to go into lockdown at 3pm tomorrow. I will be hatching Dorkings. My Dorking Roos were bred with Black Sex Links, and RIR. IF anyone is interested in buying some of the chicks, I am located in Kernersville - NC. Feel free to send me a PM. I will be posting pics as they generate.

LOL I haven't tried. Her daddy is deathly afraid of the water, so any swim lessons she's gonna get have to be secret or he'll have a heart attack.

well she's a cutie, and I bet she doesn't have a dab of algae growing on her.. Have you ever seen videos where people put their babies in the water and they go under and start to swim? that is amazing to me.

well finally decide to get those 3 Brahma hens that need a home, If it doesn't work out them we'll just have some more chicken in the freezer but I do hope it works.. Just having to keep the separate for so long is going to be a bummer..
