Hello Everyone!!!

I am in Apex (near Raleigh) and am planning on raising and KEEPING (stupid racoons!) a small flock of Jersey Giants. I have a huge incubator (DIY freezer) w/ turner, so I can go with eggs, or I'd be happy with chicks too (brooder is ready & waiting). Does anyone know of anyone who has Blue or Splash JGs?

I can't remember anyone talking about Jersey Giants off the top of my head, but I bet someone here can point you in the right direction! I know what you mean about the raccoons - I am building my run as secure as possible entirely in hardware cloth because I can watch the raccoons in a tree out my kitchen window most days. I am not going to take any chances! Oh, and if you're up for shipped eggs you could always post that you're looking over on the 24 hr auction thread!
