We have a swap/sale etc @ the local TSC in Monroe this coming Sat, How much should I ask for my white Silkie Roos and my surplus Buff Roo's? I also have a pair of BR chick's - male and hen, anf clues on asking price?
How nice are those silkie roos? I had some pretty one's and their brother won a blue ribbon last year, I was able to sell them no questions asked at $25 each though they weren't show worthy. Depending on quality I've seen them go from $5 to $50. The more they go for though, no one is going to be eating them!!!

Spouce abuse of the worse kind!! Lots of beer after I hope
Oh please, he's had 2 beers and only pulled wood out from under the deck. Then he went to Home Depot with the neighbor around 2, and I haven't heard from him since.
I don't think it'll get done today after all. My poor birds have outgrown the quarintine pen though, and really need to be moved.
I can only let them out of the pen on and off when I'm out with them. No cover by the pen, and hawks have been TERRIBLE around here the last couple of weeks.
We have Bird-X netting over the top of our hens, put in posts and then attach it to the side of the run and over the top. It is also under shade of a tree so not as much opportunity for birds to swoop.
Here are some pics:
This was taken by Cyn who we bought the coop from:
We removed it from the legs.
Here in our yard:
One post still to go in. Panels up, just hardware cloth to attach now and the last of the bird netting. This will give thm a 10x20 run area.

Gavin, be very happy if you can get $8-$10 for them. DH took 12 of ours (all cockerels) over to the sale this past Thursday. They just dont bring much, the most expensive two sold for a whopping $5 each! I dont even want to tell you what the others went for.
Free to a good home is always an option, that is what I have done in the past and will do in the future, waste less gas and time and someone is bound to take them when you offer the word "free".
