North Carolina

Since so many of your are neighbors of mine.... or at least relatively speaking! Do any of you know, or fall into this proposal for the US 401 Corridor study I just heard about? The purposal isn't very clear, it looks like they are determining if they are going to reroute HWy 401 or make bypasses to go through some rural neighborhoods? Somehow no matter which one they go with our neighborhood is smack in the middle, but it doesn't go through.

However, this is the first I've heard of it though they say they've sent out a proposal back in January. I just had to deal with the danged 540 project junk and luckily dodged that bullet to only have this one shot in our general direction. I'm planning on going to one of the community meetings, whether it affects us, or how it does, or not... I'd kinda like to know whats been going on and being planned since the plan says its going to start the project and end the study in 2014. That's not too far off!

peepers my crooked beak does the same, and he'll jump in the feed bucket as well some times and eat as I feed the rest. They just are crazy cute with the way they do things

We went to the Arts & Crafts fair to look around and there was a rescue with them. We spent $20 do you think that was a fair price? I love them

Any who I took a video of them running around the garage ( sorry not the best )

Thanks

The one hen is a freak! She hates people and once I catch her she pecks me! She has broken my skin 5 times now, I think? Any good ways of making a hen friendlier? I have her in a cat carrier so it is easier for me to work with her when I need to, the other hen was pecking because she had a bloody comb, which she got all on her own! I was changing the water and she was freaking out, flying and throwing herself against the cage! She some how nicked her comb

If she doesn't work out the rescue will take her back if it comes to that, I am hoping it doesn't
