Hi everyone and welcome to all the newbies!

Been out of pocket for a couple of days, yesterday we had a yard sale

and today we spent the day going to Goodwill and grocery shopping. So I have to share my deal of the day!!!!

Found this at Goodwill today

It has the original manual, floor petal, extra attachments, even oils, and yes it does work.

Anyone want to guess the price???

Oh and on another note - I turned off the last cabinet bator today and am down to just my little counter top Brinsea..

i was discussing with someone recent about how horned owls will get chickens and pigeons to try to fly up (or run) and stick their heads out through the wire, so they or their partner can take the heads off. sometimes the young will just practice swooping to scare them up, and not know to eat them yet, or doing when full.

Ya just gotta love Goodwill.... today's deal of the day was three yards of unused chicken fabric for only $1!!!!!!

We haven't been to goodwill in awhile so it was kind of a fun past two days with the family.

Good afternoon everyone!! HAPPY 4th of July!!

So HT - I absolutely LOVE your goodwill finds!! I might have to take a trip out to ours soon then!!

VFem - I don't know how you feel about tillers, but I am officially a hater of them!! LOL. Can't wait to find out what the DH's secret project is!!

ML - Photos...we need to see photos!!

So this weekend has been fun. We built DD her sandbox and let her play in it. She was having so much fun, she almost fell asleep in it playing so hard.

CUTE!! I was working on tilling up the garden - getting it ready for the fall planting and 2 terrible things happened. 1) We were tilling and something HIT me...

my husband was taking over the tilling for me and

hit me with a potato that we thought for sure was dead!! We thought our garden was not producing anything and came out laughing at all the potatoes we killed with the tiller!!

Oh well. 2)I am blaming the potatoes for the tiller DYING!! This is a tiller that I just bought back in Feb, so we are very disappointed because it was a great little tiller!! We've been looking at getting a new one (one that is pulled behind the tractor) although they are EXPENSIVE!!

Anyone have suggestions?!?
We have nothing new to update on the chickens

they are just trying to stay cool in this HOT weather!!
