Don't beat yourself up too much. I just laid Lily down for her nap, went into the living room to grab her cup, filled it with juice, and came back in to see that she'd crawled out of the playpen and onto the dresser.

She just looked at me and said "What're you doin?"

Just remember if you make a fuss they will learn and latch on to that so quick. Just pick them up, brush them of and distract them from what has happened..... And all will be fine..........

nope that was a Gavin answer - Allison here now
frow.gif
--- I would freak out too
hit.gif
- I would grab her up - cry with her and then take her to Walmart for a treat , buy her a new toy and McDonalds afterwards-- to anyone that does not know me - I AM A softie - I spoil everything I love and allow them to get by with murder .... and when it comes to babies - OMG I am the worst for allowing them to get by with anything that will not hurt them. You see my Pug - Pugsley has trained me very well . Even my chickens get thier tomatoes, and cucumber salads every day chopped up and place in the freezer for a couple hours , so yes my chickens have veggie slushies everyday . I am a nut.

Thank you ladies!

I love my barn, too bad the horses are still made at me for booting them out.

But it has been a blessing for my chickens. The runs are just on one side at the moment, going to add some to the other side soon hoping to have them all done before winter. Next year I want to work on an outside overhang/run the full length on the born (40 feet) and run doors to rotate everyone out for "play days".

HT Wow.....that is a really nice set-up for the chickens.....I am green now.

Visited with BHep and just love her place too. We had a great time and drooled over her beautiful birds. Wonder if I come swing a hammer at her barn when she is ready if I can get lunch......lol.
