I have it losely zip tied to the bottom 12 inches of the fencing around everyone. I also used to make a frame and zip tie a couple layer of netting to it to make a stand alone snare. Just be sure to check it a few times a day. A trapped snake will die a slow miserable death if left in there. You can carefully cut the snake free for relocation or dispose of it.

What county are you in? Both require that they be rabies vaccinated. If you can find where they are chained up and call either county to investigate. Most people who leave their dogs chained up don't vaccinate them and you can hit them in their pocketbooks. If you can fid the doags and anmial controp issues a citation or removes the dog you can ask for re-imbursement-- not that you can EVER replace our babies.
Pursue these irresponsible people fully.

Morning everyone. Not a chicken but I thought I would share a cute pic. Our cat Goblin with an identity crisis, he refuses to eat his cat food anymore, loves the dogs food. Silly cat!

Here's a pic a took this morning, not her best as it is a bit blurry but this is the big girl I plan to show this fall. She is just around 5-1/2 to 6 months old and one massive girl. Ilove her sooo much.

CSB.... I got the same advice from a friend at church. Do the chickens try to eat the sulfer? I have to check that out and make sure it is not poisonous.

Matt... I have some of that netting.... I may try to rig something.

ALLL THANKS TO MY WONDERFUL 11 YEAR OLD SON. I dug the snake out from under the shed slab and my son looked like he was going to jump in, so I said " do you want to get him" DUHHHH Mom YEAH ! He is now residing in a cage in the barn until new living arrangements can be made.
