Sookie seemed fine this morning. I'm hoping maybe today will be the day! Right now it's just Esme that is laying reliably. Then I have 1 or 2 that have popped out 1 or 2. I refuse to buy eggs so I'm hoarding them for baking this weekend when I'd really like to be eating them!!! I need more eggs!!!

Bhep, wish you were closer so I could buy some of your duck eggs you've got coming out the wazoo for my baking!!! So you've got your silkies with your bigguns, huh???? Hmmm.... sounds promising!!!!

Here was the big highlight to our evening. We see balloons all the time and have even seen them land near by. Well this time it landed in our back yard!

They almost didn't make it over the back tree line but thankfully all ended well. The horses got a sight like never before, deer, coyote but never a balloon.

DH took the kids down to see it upclose, how cool it that!!
