Ask BHEP or G&A..

Samantha, I do not want geese or quail!!!!!!!! Only want more layers!!!

All you sewers on here - speak to DW, we spent our stimulus check on a sewing machine for Allison................

He's a very handsome goose named Todd.

We have our first quail eggs in the bator right now, a combo of coturnix colors. To my understanding quail eggs have a benefit to those going thru chemo. We have also been told they taste just like a regular chicken egg and from the size I have in the bator they are no smaller than we are already getting from out serama's.

ps- someone needs to adopt those adorable hens in the wake shelter!

My husband LOVES boiled quail eggs..I've heard of people making pickling and deviled eggs of them, too, which would be quite a conversation piece!

My son and I colored some for Easter last year and they turned out beautiful!

OOHH A Sewing party, I'd LOVE IT!!
love.gif
I've mostly sewn for ladies & babies (Ball gowns, baby dresses, dresses, tops, corsets - I am a corset NUT, period pieces - just think College Theatre Costumes) but my DH is DYING for me to make him two things - first I am to make him a 3 piece suit - which he knows I will NEVER do...I HATE lining suit jackets for men...it's a pain!! secondly I am to make him his kilt once we collect the tartan from Scotland...which of course we have to pick up in person so...that will be several years down the road!!
gig.gif
History note: the term "the whole 9 yards" comes from the fact that to make a TRUE kilt it requires pleating 9 yards of the tartan (known states-side as "plaid")...by HAND. There you go!!
As for math....well I will be the FIRST to say that DH does all and I mean ALL of the calculations for me. I tell him the finished product size, the seam allowances and sometimes the block size (if we're quilting) and he does the other calculations!!
love.gif
He spoils me. As for sewing machines - I have one that I have a love/hate relationship with. It's a Husqvarna Viking Designer SE embroidery & sewing computerized machine....yeah, enough said.

That is why I have a love/hate relationship with it. Perhaps I will love it more when it is fixed!!

to your daughter!! I hope her appointment goes well. She is probably just scared because it's something new. As for the feed...I don't know if I remember what you told me or not (I'm blaming post pregnancy amnesia!!), I am sorry. The feed pick up isn't that far....it ended up being a 45 minute drive today!! I get the feed through Reedy Fork Farms - are you the one who told me about them??
hu.gif
I can't remember what I did yesterday let alone being told things!!
gig.gif
So I have the link opened to the adoption page, I just have not made my way there...I am afraid I might see some sheep that will NEED to come home with me!! Maybe I'll leave the page open for DH to look at it!!
smile.png
That's one way of getting him addicted, right??

Time to clean and wait for SJM to get her car fixed so she can come make a pumpkin pie!!
gig.gif
I am serious when I say I am dreading making a pie...mine NEVER turn out right
barnie.gif
Give me a cake or a torte or a pastry to do any day over a pie!! You ladies are welcome over for a sewing party any time!!

Im contemplating it! I don't have the setup to "quarantine" them when they arrive here though

Any dog crate or kennel would even work as a quarantine pen, they are not real big.

Okay....that was NOT nice of you to post the adoption page for us to look at. I have already found like 20 that I want to bring home with me!! Good thing there are no photos of sheep because I was already crying looking at the cat page!! I'd blame it on the pregnancy hormones....but nope, I just want them all to have great loving homes!!
hit.gif
Okay now I am going to go clean and find tissues!!

Oh...try going there in person.

I had a break down at orientation looking at the dogs, and I'm definitely a cat person.

My husband decided to keep the last dog we planned to foster so he's a permanent member of our nut house now.

I emailed them about the chickens.
