Thanks Ally! I emailed one company thanking them for the interview and letting them know Brian is still interested and he looks forward to hearing back from them.

He's going to call the other company since we never did any emailing back and forth with them.

Going to go pick up my daughter and stop by the neighbor's house (Brian is working on her house while he's not so busy these days) and see if Brian will give them a ring since they're lunch hour is over.

Had some bad news at the doctor's regarding baby #2...now I am on limited activity (try doing that with a 15mo old and relatives coming) and will be rechecked in a month. Trying not to stress - apparently I have a relatively common condition (something called Previa - where the placenta covers the cervix...sorry if that's TMI) but the placenta is extremely thin and can burst (uncommon thus the restricted activity - they wanted bed rest at which I laughed). Prayers are much appreciated...spent a good deal of time outside when we got back just to sit and watch my chickens. They are my "therapy" right now...so gentle with DD... it is sweet!! Made a few dishes for Thanksgiving - you know the stuff that you need "stale" like cornbread and bread... hehe. Tomorrow I start making my GG G'mas roll recipe using...back fat - oh yeah... it's quite...gross!! LOL We'll see how it goes. I have back up rolls ... just in case!!

Not sure how much I will be on in the coming days, and as a precaution, I just wanted to wish everyone a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!! I am very thankful to have "met" all of you!!

G&A: Egg count ...is ....dwindling!!

I blame you and your jinx!! hehe

SOS, they are in Macon, NC. They are 4x4x8 and very sturdy. He has 2 left.

SBL, CUTE babies!!!

vfem, I think its very acceptable to send an email or call. Remind them of who he is and make sure he stays in the forefront of their decision.

NH, I'm sorry to hear this. Hopefully you aren't bedridden for the rest of your pregnancy. Watch any squatting, heavy lifting, or too much stress. It isn't very common but typically isn't painful at ALL so watch out for any bleeding. Even though you have company coming get them to help you do things so you aren't run so ragged. Sorry! Off my soapbox now!

Ruthann - So sorry. I really hope that you don't have to stay off your feet the whole pregnancy! Not easy to do with a little one. I'm really sorry! But do as they say! Every time I cheated and said "oh well, going out to eat is practically the same thing as eating at home..." or something along those lines I ended up back in the hospital. :-( Take it easy!!!

Cute babies SBL!!!

Bhep - everyone settling in with your new addition? Hope things are going smoothly!

doublea - Take some pics of your new set up! Sounds awesome! Busy day indeed!

Today while quickly visiting the chickens I caught one of my little tiny white Silkie chicks chasing the big black Cochin!!!!
