BHep - your Lav Roo is gorgeous, but I have to say, my BO Roo is just as handsome!!
He too comes from HT via G&A!! My Lav Roo is pretty, just not THAT pretty!! So since my BO is the only one allowed near the new girls (so much for giving Cottontail a chance with the ladies)...anyone want to take a guess what a BO x Blue Cochin or BO x Splash Cochin would look like?? Just thinking IN CASE one of those ladies goes broody.

Chicken update: only 1 measly egg yesterday from one of the cochins... (Good girls) Is it normal for chickens to go from 1 a day to 1 every few days in the "winter"?? I am just wondering because it hasn't really been winter, and I didn't know if this was "automatic" (ie seasonal) for them or not.
I guess I am still a newbie!!
Chicken Shows: I can honestly say that while DH promised me I could go to the next show, I must say that due to my condition at the time of the next few shows (look at HT's goat, and that will resemble me depending on the date in April!!
) I will sadly not be able to go and meet some of you wonderful people. Is there another show close to Smithfield/Clayton/Raleigh area?? If so, I am sure I could take my papoose (I believe the "modern term" is a moby wrap) with the new one and DD and hit the show!! I may even bring some cookies...if it's close enough!!
