I asked me husband just 6 months ago to build me a coop so I could keep 4 hens for eggs.....I'm 30 chickens, a pair of ducks and a pair of geese later...

Well I've come to the conclusion that elvis is just lazy. Sorry for not getting a picture up but it's been a hectic weekend with roommate and girlfriend sick.
HT do you have any chicks ready for sale???? I'm trying to get a bday list together so I can actually get what I want and not get anymore mutts...... other than that RAIN RAIN GO AWAY I'VE GOT TO MUCH WORK TODAY!

Uh oh, that's what I told my husband last night.

DH: "What do you think? About 5-6 chickens?"

Me: "Naw, we only need about 3-4. If they're good layers, we'll be able to use the whites and give the dogs a yolk every once in a while."

DH: "True, but it wouldn't hurt us to eat a few yolks during the week."

(Pssst, what I haven't told him is I'm also interested in getting a few turkey's later on too. DH is a big turkey eater and the dogs love raw turkey necks. Gotta get my feet wet with the chickens first though.)
