It will be very interesting to try and figure out the new BYC, but so far I am liking most of it.
I seen alot of people are weirded out by the 'follow user' feature though. lol But its kinda like Twitter, you'll know where they post, just like before when you go to a person's profile and checked their threads or auction listings.

I want purple letters !!!! how ???? gotta go find cool stuff.

Oh for godsakes guys go look up the FAQ sheet about the albums and all there is a demo video on how to use the albums and how to UPLOAD DIRECTLY IN THE THREAD! FINALLY! https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/welcome-to-byc

The gist is your upload album is private UNTIL you change it to public, if you change it to public you can never change it back to private, soooooo keep that in mind. All other albums you make and any directly uploaded have to be public...but if you upload directly in your picture area, they are private as long as you keep that upload album private.

oh has anyone else noticed the little thumbs up like feature under each post? this has something to do with "reputation" and helping each other build up a reputation on here...its kinda neat but at the same time - am I the only one going WTH!?!


OH VFEM! Go up to the top look up under where it says reviews. it says New Messages the Subscriptions...

Click Subscriptions and it will bring up your subscribed threads ...makes it easy to find the NC thread if you are subscribed to it.

Glad I aint the only one a little lost. Is anyone else's BYC running slower than normal now or is it just mine? OH and Lake Ramirez is open again, must take 1 five gallon bucket when you are done playing. All my extra smiles don't work
