But they are cute.

I've been dealing with a crisis all day!!.... I have some kind of upper respiratory infection and I come home to find bloody chick poo!!
somad.gif
the first time I use non-medicated food and this happens..

gave them some medicine and hopefully everyone clears up the next day or two. Other than that everything is well, the grow out pen is finally (semi) finished and livable,

finally something that goes well.
I'm gonna gripe for a minute: it's difficult to keep/raise chickens with roommates, simply because I do things on purpose and then the roommate goes and does the complete opposite!

I NEED MORE SPACE!!! and most of all someone/thing that listens!

hahaha anyways! That is all for now.

Luke yes I was going to PM you and tell you I seen bloody-ish poo this morning, but don't see no respiratory symptoms, but they are in quarantine - so I will have time to see if they do or not. I put mine on Corid - was going to tell you to med yours too.

That's crazy because I haven't seen it in that pen!

still haven't......I'm kind of shocked and confused as to what to do, the 2 I saw do it are now alone and I'm hoping everyone else is ok......they all have been treated with the stuff you put in the water (I can't remember because they have me on drugs too

)
SoS: if something happens to them I'll give you your money back, swear to ya!
Let me sleep on this

hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow and be able to do a more thorough check up

The respiratory infection is in me, not the birds!

Ohhhhhhh on the respiratory infection. UGH I hate those! Hope you feel better soon!!!!! I doubt anything will happen to these chicks, they are strong and healthy. I am going to start treating with cocci vaccine - I am sick and tired of Cocci, it lives in my soil here and it stays for years...my younger birds get it after a hard rain where it stays icky and marshy for a few days - even letting everyone free range the teenagers are prone to it, and new birds. I HATE IT.

it'll be ok, Ramirez: thanks, I went down there but found it cheaper at the pet store, I'm gonna get to the bottom of this epidemic thingy, I can't afford to keep taking myself and the chickens to the doc! Thanks for everyones help, If I'm on tomorrow it means I'm home in bed and not at work (acting like I'm working)
Night everyone!
