vfem, HELP I just got offered Scuppernong and Concord grape vines. What do I do with them, where do I put them, shade/sun/etc. HELP!!!! LMAO

Hey girl... take em! We're going to cover grapes at the Garden class and I'm even going to show you how to prune them. They need at least 6 hours of full sun.

Yeah RF, it was just a lovely day out today wasn't it? LOL You're welcome much!

Just finished bathing the new birds, the poor poor things. They were beak clipped and I didn't know. They had mites and scaley leg mites too. So they were washed, and dried. Then dusted with DE and their legs covered in petrolum jelly. They totally were flipping out over me, but they were calm and relaxed when hubby held them. So happy hubby finally got some birds who like him, so maybe he'll be more involved with the birds?

Well for tonight they get to sleep in the tub, and since tomorrow looks to be nice, I'm move them to the new coop then. I'm sure they'll love their new home and being clean and healthy again!

Well now, I managed to get the WCA for the first time ever today. I didn't get there until 1:30-ish, so of course got to stand in the back. It was fascinating. I didn't bring home a thing, though. Since I got there so late, I didn't get to see anything prior to bidding beginning. But it was a definite learning experience. I'll be dragging hubby back next time. And be earlier. And maybe actually meet a few folk next time instead of standing there by myself like a wall-flower.

Oooh... maybe hold up a sign "BYCer" and we'll all come flocking! LOL

We got quite a bit of sleet and snow here in an hour it went from not sticking to half an inch on the roads. We got into a fender bender because we got caught in town Ugh. But it was sister's car and she had full coverage so oh well we're all alright and thats all that matters a car can be fixed or replaced.


Glad all you had fun at WCA SOOOOO glad I didn't go - by the time I would have come home it would have been horrible out here and I would have been by myself!
