After looking at chickens today and not bringing any home, I ended up expanding my meat chicken order I placed this evening, and am getting a few more pullets. Can't have too many chickens!

Oh yes we are all enablers!

Let me know if you want some brahmas or polish I am putting brahma eggs in my incubator and ordering some polish and maybe a few miscellaneous layers from Ideal in a few weeks.

I got about a hundered Rhodes and barred rocks, not sure how many of each, also got some new hampshires as well. if anyones interested in swinging buy i wouldnt mind selling like 50 of them. 2 bucks each or 1.50 if you buy all 50.

Looking at the chicks close im not sure what they ARE!




Looks like reds, but im not sure what the black and white/yellows are.




Ive got them in 2 big plastic water troughs right now in a heated room in the barn with a heat lamp on both of them, what do you guys use? Any suggestions on what these are?


im pretty sure thers 3 breeds in here. i got one box of 10 chicks but cant rember what breed, ill have to look on the box. theres about 80-100 of the other 2 breeds.
