When I get home in the evenings there are 20-50 posts from the day to read.

Quoting helps me to follow who is replying to who and about what.
If they didn't quote the post I have to scroll back and forth to follow
what they are repling to and that takes alot of time.

I like when quoting is used but that is just me.

I do see that quoting can take alot of page space especially
when pics are in the post,

but then again.........
I get to see the cutie pics again

I like quoting, because I can follow the conversation without having to go back through several pages and figure out who was talking to whom. But sometimes it's also helpful to trim the post you are replying to. Sometimes not. It depends.

I guess pleasing everyone just isn't possible. We can't even do it at my house, and there are only two humans here!

Thanks everyone. I call them my practice chicks, so I can make sure I can keep care of them. So far so good. They are chirping happily. And the best part I have only gotten pooped on 3 times

Question - I have my eggs and chicks listed on Craig's List, I have gotten several inqueries but no real bites. Am I asking too much for the chicks? I am asking $2 for Easter Eggers and $4 for the Naked Neck Easter Eggers.

I had a guy set up a time, I had the chicks ready, and he never showed up or even a call to say he wasn't coming to get them :( .

They really are great chickies and cute too. What do y'all do to sell so many?

My practice chicks turned out to be all roo's, they are now practicing in the coop. I had to learn how to care for then in the coop, right?

I think your prices are very reasonable. I have had the same thing repeatedly with potential buyers. Some people are just rude like that.

I think that your prices are reasonable. If I were closer I would get a few of your NNEE.( I live in the Asheville area). I have seen quite a few ads on CL selling female chicks. I can't compete with them because I sell my EE as straight run. People who haven't hatched and raised chicks don't realize how much time and love it takes to care for them.

It was rude of the guy not to call and tell you that he wasn't coming. I try to always ask people to please call me if they change their minds. It is disappointing, to say the least, when they don't let you know they aren't coming.

If I can't sell mine as chicks then when they are older I take them( mostly the roosters) to the auction. Then I will advertise the pullets on CL.

Good morning everyone.

Well today sucks! I woke up to find my yard a war zone :hit my quarintine pen was toppled and somthing ripped the wire off, and my new trio of blue cochins are dead :hit I just got them 3 days ago :somad I think my neighbors hound did this! They were all torn a part and strewn all over the yard. :hit I don't even want to go back outside today because there are beautiful blue feather everywhere! Why couldn't the stupid mutt go after the mean roosters in flimsy cage at the back of the yard! :he Nooo it had to come right up near the house! :hit
