I wish I could sex them. I have no clue as to what I have.

I don't know if EE or naked necks or a cross of the 2 can be feather sexed, but I just examined my chicks and found these results:
The "pure" Easter Egger has 2 different legnths of feathers on the wings
The naked necked crosses also have 2 different legnths of feathers
The fully fuzzy cross has only 1 legnth of feathers on the wings

Hoping this means only 1 roo out of the group.

Good morning everyone.
Well today sucks! I woke up to find my yard a war zone

my quarintine pen was toppled and somthing ripped the wire off, and my new trio of blue cochins are dead

I just got them 3 days ago

I think my neighbors hound did this! They were all torn a part and strewn all over the yard.

I don't even want to go back outside today because there are beautiful blue feather everywhere! Why couldn't the stupid mutt go after the mean roosters in flimsy cage at the back of the yard!

Nooo it had to come right up near the house!

I am so very very sorry. This is heartbreaking.

so sorry for your loss....... are you having constant problems with the neighbors dog? if so call the law...... Have you spoken with your neighbor about it? If you have to no avail, then get a gun, shoot it if it comes on your property - that is your right to protect you and your property. I hate to say it, but a cage/run for your birds is the most important thing to have secure and did you not hear any noise?.....

Thank you all for your support. I was at the hospital last night and when I got home it was very late, I never heard a thing so I think it happen while I was gone. I've talked to the neighbor but I can never get pics of the dog on my property. I fired a shot off at it today when it came back! The cochins were in a hutch (kinda like the kind HT builds) in the barn.
