Isn't it just the coolest thing to crack it open and get 2 eggs from 1 shell?

Could you get a picture of the chicks head and comb area? I'm thinking it may be a boy. The amount of red on it and the fact that it is developing slower are good indicators of being boys. If there is a comb already developing it would be a definate rooster sign. I know with my first set of EEs I knew which one was my rooster by the time they were 5 weeks old.
Just "popping" on to let everyone know I am still here!!I had some good news from the doctors, but I will spare you all the details!!
Just waiting...and I HATE waiting!! At least we have time to figure out a "cage" for our broody!!![]()
Its not the amount of red, you can have a solid red ee hen. Its the darkness of the red on the wings that make me think roo. But with that being said a neighbor has a white with dark red on the wings ee hen.
Jdeliveira I thinks it is a roo but it is slow feathering in so it might still get a tail.
That is encouraging to see. I am working on my dogs and introducing them to the two we have now. They are only a week old so hopefully when they are bigger there won't be a problem. I have two yorkies and they want to attack. My cavalier king Charles spaniel I thought would be fine but one day she tried to snatch one. Today I had her outside with the chicken. I held her tightly and let the chickadee free range around her. Little scared but hoping forvthe best.
