Sold the OEs locally from home.... took to the auction, some older chicks, a Serama rooster, a pair of Button Quail, lots of hatching eggs, 2 Call Drakes.
Mary bought my Serama and Button Quails.

I am planning to go to the flock swap @ Tractor Supply this Sat. 5/5. I am bring ducks... maybe a few older chicks. I can bring your chicks too.

Oohhhh...chocolate! THAT would be cool!! I think two of those eggs were from the ee, so I'll definately keep those when they hatch! I'm really excited about the blue egg tophat though. Should be some interesting chicks.

I just read your siggy after I posted this, I think you should just wait on your non-laying hen and see what happens. How old is this hen?

I was told she was just nearing 1 when I bought her, but I wouldn't know if that is the truth or not since thes are my first ever chickens. And I figured as much with the flies. Just another reason for me to love the cold months! LOL

Okay maybe not a good idea for me to go to a flock swap. I am taking care of 33 babies now plus my 5 teenagers, 5 ducks, and 2 goats. The babies are the hardest, but I spend a lot of time with the teenagers. All this running around hopefully I will lose some weight.

Just out of curiosity did they have any silkies or tophats for sale at WCA. Dont think DH and I will be able to go again until June 10th. He keeps asking about the guineas.

I am learning what is nice and not. My first two silkies are so much nicer than a few I got this past Monday. Of the five I was sent I like the look of 2 of them for sure. Last week my ds really wanted some of the polish. He got mad at us for not getting him any.
