Ugh! Im so frustrated! We have been trying to find a house to rent for 6 months! I just cant seem to find any houses that arent in neighborhoods! I hate neighborhoods! I just want some land to have my chickens on! Is 1 acre too much to ask?

More peeps!! I'm up to 2 black sex links (one boy, one girl) 2 EE's, and 4 mixes. One of the mixes has a red face and black body. That baby looks wild! He's sitting in the egg carton, looking directly at the camera.

Had an interesting thing happen today when DH got the eggs today. He dropped one of them when he was going to put it in the basket. The whole side of it was crumbled shell all the way down to the membrane of the egg but the egg didn't leak anything. I told him that is what happens with homegrown eggs. If he had done that with a store bought egg he would have had a mess on him. I had to cook the egg immediately but that isn't an issue since the kids ate it with their supper.

We are selling our EE roo Thursday (the BR roo went to a new home already).We finally had someone email us about him and she is supposed to get back with us tomorrow so we can set up for her to get him Thursday when DH is off work.

The plans for the weekend include getting some new pictures of the chicks so I can post here to get some help with genders. I know of one cockeral for sure but I've known that one for a couple weeks now. I have no experience with single comb bird sexing though so I will have to have help with that. Majority of our chicks are single comb breeds this time. I know one of our Ameracaunas is a boy but I've known that for 2 weeks now based on comb development.

I just want everyone to know I'm getting a lot of interest in the Jam Class!!! I'm hoping everyone who's interest lets me know by Friday this week. I want to be able to get everyone the exact information they need with the schedule by the weekend! If you have any questions, just PM me and I'll fill ya in.

As for right now, trying to get over another ear infection, but that's to such an awesome chicken person I went out and got a netti pot.... weird, but it's really helping! Thanks!

Good Morning everyone!! My SIL and I are heading out to the outlet mall today...hoping and praying for some good deals - especially for the new one!!

I am interested in the class for sure ! Also no fox yet, traps were empty this am. Doesn't surprise me...they already ate 12 chickens...they are stuffed ! They did come back and set leg traps. Not sure if I like that....but, she has to go.
