I hope so, I also have 5 brahmas in with them and the two light brahmas look like roos and the 3 dark ones look like girls. But the sweds are the sweetest birds I've ever had! THANKS BETH

Ok not trying to promise similar results here, but I had hatched out 5 beautiful chicks from eggs I got from Beth and the verdict is in- four little pullets and only one roo. A perfect little flock! I'll take that ratio any day. My egg basket will now be complete- a blue egg, an olive egg, a chocolate egg, and a cream egg.

Riddle me this Batman...lol...I had 15 EE's chicks and sold 4 to a friend.....her 4 have started to lay wonderful blue eggs for a week now.....mine havent....WHY!?!??!!?!

WARNING: CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!
The following photos are for Rookie, but especially for Beth's girls!!
ALL 5 (plus mama) are looking for forever homes, if you have a need for a barn cat!! Each one is very sweet & friendly - only one is shy, but still loves to be cuddled. I believe there are 3 boys and 2 girls - both tigers are girls (I think) and 2/3 of the grey are boys (again, I think...they are not too fond of having their "parts" examined...LOL).


This one says ADOPT ME, I give free cuddles!! Also...I'm mischievous!!

This one says, "Who me? I didn't do it...whatever IT is!"

This one is the runt and says ADOPT ME, I love to talk and give cuddles oohh and eat when my brother & sisters let me eat.

This boy says, Beth, you know you WANT ME

She says, "No thanks, I'm not interested in that big, scary, black thing you are carrying that is making a clicking sound."

Also, a special thank you to Beth & Alex who answered my panicked question regarding my "vomiting" chicken...apparently chickens can drink too much and "vomit" water!! LOL...Never saw that before, and I panicked!! LOL Glad to know no one was sick!!

I can't handle many more of these moments...lol

NH, that is CRUEL! How dare you get me all goo goo eyed and wanting a new baby fuzzy and I can't afford to feed another fuzzy. OMG, *swooooooon*.


Sorry I haven't been around much, Holy #^%$ ... my garden just like exploded and is throwing up more things then I can handle harvesting. I've done 2 pots of salsa and got a pot of sauce going now before this batch of tomatoes go bad. Blackberries are going to be expecting us in the morning because there is only another week or 2 of those left if that. Then figs will be ready next week, all while the cukes and tomatoes roll in like a storm!


Alex and Beth, next Wednesday... serious... you wanna can tomatoes, we can can tomatoes! Hahahaha


Good thing I picked up 6 more cases of jars... but I'll probably need another 2-3 cases by then to catch back up.

I'm even running out of pantry storage room! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
